I try to be as inconspicuous as possible – we haven’t done a Fundraiser for Past Daily in almost 3 years. I’ve been relying on a message to subscribe or links to Buy Me A Coffee and Paypal at the bottom of most articles. I try not to be obnoxious.
But I have to come right out and say Past Daily needs your support, especially now when subscribers are down and support is crucial. We’re right in the middle of digitizing the archive which means more and more articles are posted – so far we have almost 10,000 articles and audio files online. That’s all thanks to you and your contributions over the years. I couldn’t have done it without you. But rather than rely on a few of you to carry the weight, I am asking all of you, or as many as I can, to please help by chipping in, even a few bucks, to keep us up and running every day. We need 200 subscribers by the end of the month. It’s not that big a goal, when you think about it.
Past Daily is a lot of things to a lot of people – it’s new music, old music, news, history, speeches, events, popular culture; the somewhat weird and the often off-beat. It happens all in one place – on these pages, every day and many times a day – all year long.
I’ll keep it short – we need your support. If you subscribe via Patreon for as little as $5.00 a month (for as long or as short as you want), you can have access to the archive and you can download every sound file we’ve posted so far and in the future.
Buy Me A Coffee and Paypal don’t have percs yet, but hopefully you’ll be able to do the same thing in the future.
The bottom line – do what you can. If you can, fantastic – if you can’t, tell a friend. We need you and we need you to help spread the word. We only need 200 subscribers by the end of the month – fingers crossed, you’re one of them.
So you can either click the red “Become A Member” button on top of this page – or “Become A Patron” at the bottom of this page, or click on Buy Me A Coffee or the PayPal logo in the middle.
Anything you can do to help keep us afloat, giving you the best history, music and offbeat, we will be forever grateful.
