Reposting a concert from several years ago (via my long-ago now-defunct site) from the 1960 Newport Jazz Festival featuring the legendary Art Farmer and Benny Golson.
One of the most successful pairing of two Jazz giants, the Farmer/Golson collaboration is in full bloom during this classic Festival appearance. Luckily, the Voice Of America was on hand to preserve the proceedings.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
