Heading into some uncharted territory (for us, anyway) by way of Absnt Mind in session for BBC Introducing East Midlands, recorded earlier in the day today.
Initial impression was being struck by the immaculate vocal harmonies and then realizing Absnt Mind is a new entry in the UK Boy Band sweepstakes, but that didn’t become apparent until the second song.
The five-member boy band Absnt Mind has already established their name on social media, boasting over 10k followers on Instagram and nearly 30k on TikTok.
With its electric pop beat, catchy lyrics, and infectious chorus, it’s easy to be completely hooked on Absnt Mind’s debut single ‘No Strings.’ This modern pop anthem definitely resonates with the new generation and showcases the band’s contemporary sound and strong vocals. ‘No Strings’ also embodies the band’s values of commitment, respect, and the desire for meaningful relationships. In a world where these topics can often go overlooked, it’s refreshing to see Absnt Mind making them the forefront of their debut.
So Absnt Mind a new band, first session and debut single all at once and the session done earlier today at BBC Introducing is catchy and hook-laden.
It’s always nice to get to catch a new band or artist during their debut appearance and come back a few months or even weeks later to check on progress. Usually, it’s astounding and the fan base grows by the minute,
Invariably, there are stereotypes they can overcome.
